Drinking Fountain

These drinking fountains (there are 50 in all) were given to the city by an Englishman as a gift in the late 1800’s.

These Wallace Fountains are small, cast-iron “temples of four goddesses” (Simplicity, Temperance, Charity, and Goodness) with steady streams of water.
