These chimneys are all that's left of the concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau, Poland. Unlike the brick buildings at the smaller, main camp, these buildings were made of wood. At the end of World War II, after the camp was freed, Soviet soldiers dismantled the buildings for firewood.
