On the Trail
Where We've Been The trail is easy to see from above. It's far rockier than it looks here. Off in the distance Mirror Lake Highway cuts between two lakes.
Nearing the Top If you look carefully you will see the route, it looks like a staircase!
The Staircase The rocks looked intentially placed!
Atop Bald Mountain At 11,943 Feet, it is 200 feet higher than Mount Timpanogos. To the left is Mount Agassiz (12,433 ft)
Lot below Looking down at where we started.
Rugged Uintas (L-R) Kletting Peak, A-1 Peak and Hayden Peak.

Bald Mountain Rocks The top of Bald Mountain is just a jumble of rocks.
Looking East Looking towards the populated part of Utah (hidden in the haze.)
Reids Peak Just a couple hundred feet lower, a low ridge connects Reids Peak with Bald Mountain. The Weber River begins on the other side.
Heading Down Returning the way we came, along the top of the ridge a faint trail is visible.
